It is always a good idea to include portable chain ladders in your fire escape emergency plan. This 20 foot ladder without plastic sleeves on the chains is a strong, light weight portable escape ladder with industrial strength hooks that fit over most window sills so you can safely escape a fire. Quick Escape ladders come in 12 foot and 20 foot lengths to escape from second or third story windows. All include ladder stand offs for extra stability. Features: 18 Gauge Steel ; 2/0 Double Loop Chain. Rungs tested to 450 pounds per rung. Steel, slip-resistant rungs are heavy duty and grooved for added safety. Displaces 25 lbs. per sq. ft. Supports over 1000 pounds. Easy to install standoffs (for every rung) help to stabilize ladder during descent. Step width: 12" wide. Bright red handles fit standard window sills.
